She studied at Centennial High School and was very active in basketball there where she would become a top performer too. She was the sports lover throughout her school days later being involved in volleyball too where she excelled at the sport. This can be demonstrated by her winning the Offensive MVP of her high school volleyball team for three years.

Because of her athletic brilliance, it resulted in her getting a scholarship at the University of Georgia where she continued her love for basketball and volleyball. She also played for the US Volleyball Junior National A2 team with her major accomplishment being part of the Open Division of the US Volleyball Championships where they’d win the bronze medal.

She had a brilliant time at college and some of the records that she set during her time then has still stuck. After her bachelor’s degree was done, she continued her studies by getting a Masters of Business Administration degree in 2013. She found her career as a reporter for the same sports that she played with full-on passion throughout her school and university days. Even during her time at the University of Georgia, she had already started being a reporter and would continue for a total of three years. As a result, she had the edge over other’s similar to her since she had in-depth knowledge about these games and at the same time had good experience as well.

2013 would be an important year for her since she was hired by ESPN as a sideline reporter. After being associated with ESPN, she has been involved in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show, NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Preview Show and also ESPN’s coverage of both the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament and Women’s Volleyball National Championship.

She is also active with the SEC Network and has primarily covered football and basketball there where she is seen with commentators Brent Musburger and Jesse Palmer. Most recently, she has become active as a host too and this was evident during the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Yet, as a host, she has had some minor controversies as well that was perceived to be a bigger deal. One such instance was in 2018 when Taylor was interviewing the head football coach at the University of Alabama named Nick Saban where he had answered to a question asked by Taylor in a very angry manner. Any other reporter might have shown their ego but Taylor remained very professional even in such a scenario which was very well admired by fans.

Her father’s name is Steve Taylor who worked as a former FBI agent while her mother’s name is Suzette Taylor. They are both from Afro-American descent.
